Anika Pruthi

Anika Pruthi is a first-year medical student at Cooper Medical School of Rowan University. Before medical school, she studied computational and mathematical biology with chemistry while balancing honors classes and engaging in research projects revolving around bacterial biochemistry, medical informatics, and computational chemistry. After an internship with MIT, Anika is currently working on developing various healthcare tools to improve patients' quality of life. Involved in various organizations, such the Student National Medical Association, Women in Neurosurgery, the Community Health Literacy Project, and the Food Recovery Network, Anika loves giving back to the community and learning more about how she can innovatively eliminate healthcare disparities and inequalities.
