Angela Rodriguez

Angela Rodriguez is a junior at José Martí STEM Academy. She is currently conducting research at New Jersey City University, applying AlphaFold to study protein interactions involved in inflammasome assembly and activation. She serves as treasurer of the Science National Honor Society and is a member of the Society of Women Engineers. Angela has also participated in UC Berkeley’s Bridge to Data Fundamentals, the Stevens Institute of Technology Art Harper Saturday Program, and publishing with the Columbia Science Journal. She hopes to continue research in biochemistry while advancing leadership and outreach opportunities in STEM.
