Angela Appiah-Kubi

Angela Appiah-Kubi is a senior biotechnology/molecular biology major within the New Jersey Center for Science, Technology, and Mathematics program at Kean University. During her time at Kean, she has participated in the Biotech Club, Tri-Beta Honors Society, STEM outreach program, and Women in STEM Club. She has been awarded the Lamda Alpha Sigma Honors award for academic excellence and has appeared on the Dean’s List every semester. Inspired by her research experience in groundbreaking glioblastoma research under Sal Coniglio, Ph.D. at Kean University, Angela hopes to receive a Ph.D. in cancer biology and aid in the development of new and effective treatments for glioblastomas and other cancers.
