Anfisa Gubareva

Anfisa Gubareva is a sophomore at Jose Marti STEM Academy. She gained technical experience through Fairleigh Dickinson University’s Pre-Collegiate STEM Discovery Programs, where she explored computing, cybersecurity, robotics, and research-based projects. In the NJIT Real-World Connections Program, she served on the executive team of a first-place project that developed an artificial intelligence solution to a business challenge. At school, Anfisa participates in the Robotics Team, Girls Power in STEM, and Student Council. She also swims on the Union City Swin Team, which won the Hudson County Championship, and plays junior varsity softball. Anfisa hopes to apply her multidisciplinary skills to engineering, architecture, or computer science.
