Ananya Datta

2026 Scholar

Ananya Datta is a senior at the Academy of Allied Health and Science. She published DNA sequences to the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) database through the Rutgers Waksman Institute and presented on genetics and infectious-disease susceptibility at the Johns Hopkins Global Health Leaders Conference. Ananya is an editor with Curious Science Writers and a designated STEM tutor at school. She serves as a Math League board member and HOSA officer and volunteers as an EMS cadet. Outside of STEM, she is a four-year varsity gymnast and Bharatanatyam dancer. Ananya hopes to integrate research and medicine in the biomedical field.
