Alise Roderer

Director, Governor's STEM Scholars

Alise Roderer is the Director of the Governor’s STEM Scholars (GSS) where she is responsible for all aspects of the program, including ensuring all elements are aligned with organizational mission and vision, Scholar recruitment and selections, event and conference implementation, and fundraising and donor management. GSS is an initiative of the Research & Development Council of New Jersey in partnership with the New Jersey Office of the Governor, the New Jersey Office of the Secretary of Higher Education, New Jersey Department of Education, and employers.

Previously, Alise served as Vice President of New Leaders Council, one of the nation’s largest training organizations for Millennials leaders where she focused on building national coalitions and partners, running a national political program, and implementing all national events.

Alise is a media relations and public relations professional who has spearheaded national, state, and local marketing and media campaigns with a critical nexus with government. She served as the Deputy Communications Director of the New Jersey Senate Democratic office and has managed and worked on more than a dozen political campaigns. She previously served as a Commissioner for the Middlesex County Utilities Authority.
