AJ Caesar is a senior at Ridge High School interested in environmental engineering, computer science, and general engineering. In 2021, AJ was a New Jersey finalist in the Stockholm Junior Water Prize Competition for a robot his team designed to combat algae blooms and harness algae as biofuel. He has a particular passion for investigating clean energy, especially nuclear energy, which he often writes about in the International Youth Scientists Journal, for which he is executive director. He is also very involved with his local youth ministry planning meetings and retreats and traveling to Delaware and Connecticut for summer service trips in 2021 and 2022. In his free time, AJ enjoys hiking with his dog or hanging out at the Shore. In the future he would like to further explore the intersection of tech, business/finance, and sustainability.
