Advika Asthana

Advika Asthana is a junior at Davidson Academy Online. Her interests lie in biochemistry and AI, particularly how their intersection can be used to develop environmental solutions. Her research has explored metal-organic frameworks and their use in carbon capture for closed-cabin environments, as well as polymer degradation and particulate matter. Outside of research, Advika works to expand STEM opportunities for girls, serving as a mentor for a girls STEM circle and holding leadership positions in STEM competitions for girls.
