Achyut Vinoth Kumar

Achyut Vinoth Kumar is a junior at New Providence High School. He is co-founder and lead developer of Bubbl!, a patent-pending real-time captioning Android app for the deaf and hard-of-hearing community that was named a National Semifinalist at the 2026 Technology Student Association National Conference. Achyut is also a member of Void Walkers, a competitive Capture the Flag cybersecurity team, and serves as Director of Outreach and Curriculum Developer for CyberAcad, a student-founded nonprofit expanding access to cybersecurity education. His independent research includes training a 7.22-million-parameter lip-reading model using a dataset he compiled from 600 TED Talks. Beyond STEM, Achyut participates in YMCA civic programs, including the Conference on National Affairs, Model United Nations, and Youth and Government. In his free time, he enjoys fishing, biking, and tinkering with Arduino and ESP32 projects.
