Vrushali Koli

Vrushali Koli is an undergraduate senior co-enrolled in the Computer Science B.S. degree program at the Newark College of Engineering and the Honors program at the Albert Dorman Honors College, New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT). As part of the Honors Research Summer Institute program, she conducted an independent research project which uses data science techniques to perform a geospatial analysis of accessibilities in healthcare facilities. She enjoys volunteering her time in different capacities, such as helping to build houses with Habitat for Humanity and teaching fundamental computer science concepts to kids through JerseySTEM. She is fond of working through art mediums when trying to problem-solve as art is also a science. Her aim is to pursue graduate studies and a career combining computer science, society, and healthcare research.
