Shreshth Rajan is a senior in the Science and Engineering program at Manalapan High School. He has conducted award-winning medical research on the efficacy of cancer pharmacotherapy with an emphasis on reducing treatment related mortality. Shreshth is also currently working alongside researchers at Harvard University to explore the disparities that exist within cancer medicine. He aspires to combine this background in STEM research with his passion for the humanities to revolutionize medical care and accessibility. Beyond research, Shreshth also enjoys translating his knowledge and passion for medicine towards community service as a volunteer Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) at his local first aid department. In his free time, he loves reading non-fiction novels such as his favorite book “When Breath Becomes Air” by the late great Dr. Paul Kalanithi. He hopes to one day impact the world as a physician-researcher and writer with a strong interest in reducing healthcare disparities and improving STEM education.
