Sanya Kohli

Sanya Kohli is a senior at the Middlesex County Academy for Science, Mathematics & Engineering Technologies. She is the president of her school’s Red Cross Club and the head of community service of her school’s Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) chapter. Sanya serves as the Lab Lead at her school’s DNA Club, where she both directs and conducts research in molecular biology and bioinformatics through the analyzing of DNA clones. In the past, Sanya has worked on research on using path optimization to mitigate the climate impact of contrails. Outside of STEM, she is a strong advocate of women’s rights, both in and out of the workplace, and loves to read novels in her free time. In the future, Sanya hopes to pursue a degree and career in mechanical engineering and computer science.
