Lithra Sankari
Lithra Sankari is a junior at Parsippany High School. She has completed research projects on substance abuse in young adults and climate change media policies within the government. In addition, Lithra is President of her school’s Academic Decathlon Team and Vice President of French Club. She is also an annual HOSA participant/representative of her high school. Currently, she is independently engineering a prototype as an impact project and working on her Girl Scout Gold Award. She has received recognition as a 2nd Place American Math Competition Recipient, NJ State Governor's Jefferson Award Recipient, and a recipient of two Gold President's Volunteer Service Awards. Outside of STEM, Lithra enjoys volunteering within her local community, tutoring her peers, and making cards for pediatric cancer patients across the U.S. In the future, she hopes to participate in cell biology research and become a doctor to advance medicine through sustainable approaches.
