Kare Bangar

Kare Bangar, a second-year physics and engineering science student at Middlesex College, is engaged in both her studies and her college community. She holds leadership positions in the Student Government Association, Phi Theta Kappa chapter, and STEM Club. Kare is also a part of an aquaponics study, where she explores ways to repurpose ammonia-rich waste for sustainable microgreen energy. Recently, she completed an internship with the Federal Department of Energy’s Office of Technology Transitions and Sandia National Laboratories, where she contributed to researching grid-scale energy storage solutions. Kare's future interests lie in engineering, particularly environmental, biomedical, and aerospace applications. She is driven by the potential of these fields to address global challenges constructively.
