Jenny Gao

Jenny Gao is a junior at Ridge High School. Having attended a molecular biology lab, she has helped conduct research, learned how to perform PCR reactions and DNA electrophoresis, helped sterilized reagents with an autoclave. Exposed to many different aspects of STEM through her parents' occupations, Jenny is particularly interested in biology and psychology; consequently, she aspires to become a psychiatrist and aid to find a solution to the the prolonged mental health crisis in the United States. In her school, Jenny is now the president of the psychology club and hopes to spread awareness of the importance of mental health. Jenny also enjoys engaging in artistic activities as the co-president of the art club at her school. In her free time, she likes doing digital art, writing works of fiction, playing the piano, and more.
