Jennifer Tian

Jennifer Tian is a senior at Montgomery High School. This past summer, she conducted research on a parasite threatening Atlantic bay scallop populations under the Simons Summer Research Program, in which she developed a greater interest in the environmental and biological sciences as well as a deep respect for wildlife conservation. She is a tutoring head of her school’s National Honor Society as well as a captain and board member of the TSA TEAMS club. She is also a competing member of her school’s Math and Science Olympiad teams, frequently placing top three at national invitational tournaments in the latter. Also passionate about the visual arts, Jennifer runs an online sticker shop and leads the New Jersey Young Artists Association, creating a variety of projects bridging creative design with current events. For fun, she also enjoys folding origami and keeping up with historical dramas. In the future, Jennifer hopes to pursue an area of study integrating the life and formal sciences.
