Jacob Normand

Jacob Normand is a sophomore Mechanical Engineering major at Stevens Institute of Technology. Jacob works at the Stevens MakerSpace, where he interacts with all kinds of students to help in their design and manufacturing processes. From large-scale senior design projects to fun personal projects, he has helped students utilize the space's 3D printers, laser cutter, machines, and many other resources to bring their ideas to life. He also is working as a Stevens Tour Guide and involved in the cultural organizations on campus. In the future, Jacob hopes to use his education in Mechanical Engineering to work with robotics and automation ito find sustainable and innovative solutions to pressing social issues.
