Estefan Santi

Estefan Santi is an undergraduate chemical biology student from Stevens Institute of Technology. He is an avid researcher in Dr. Iwanicki's Lab and has worked on/managed lab projects on the study of ovarian cancer metastasis through the use of specialized 3D organoid cultures and techniques since his freshman year. He has received the Viola & Elbert Scholarship, Edwin A. Stevens Scholarship, and the Center for Healthcare Innovation (CHI) Award, as well as consistent Dean’s List awarding. Outside of the lab at Stevens, he is the treasurer of the school’s Commuter Student Union and has actively taught incoming students how to adjust to the commuting lifestyle. After his graduation, he plans to further study his interests in genetics and neurodegenerative disease through a postgraduate education.
