Dina Ameen, Ph.D.

Dina Ameen is the Skin bio-delivery Lead for Kenvue. In this role, Dina oversees skin bio-delivery capability at Future of skin health platforms is located Skillman, NJ.

Dina is an expert at skin penetration and dermal and transdermal delivery of actives, has a background in Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences with focus of drug delivery.

Dina previously served as senior scientist for Johnson & Johnson Consumer Health, and Product and Process Innovation Co-op.

Before joining Johnson & Johnson in 2021, Dina served as R&D associate at Reckitt, exploring new green chemistries and actives for household surface disinfection. Prior to that, she served as an associate professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Baghdad, college of Pharmacy.

Dina gained her Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, and a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degrees in Pharmacy from the University of Baghdad.

She is passionate about science and research, and heads the external partnership pillar of Women in Science and Engineering (WISE) Chapter at Kenvue, with aim of building strong partnerships with organizations to stimulate interest in STEM fields to inspire the next generation to pursue careers in science.
