Christian Pierre

Christopher Pierre is a freshman at Rutgers University - New Brunswick. As the director of a student-led organization at his high school, he addressed and prevented the removal of honor and AP courses within the curriculum, Influencing the addition of more desired advanced placement courses. Christopher worked with students and professors of Carnegie Mellon University with the Summer Academy of Math & Science (SAMS) program to develop a machine-learning model that could differentiate between animal groups through image processing. He aspires to hone his research capabilities and to be a leader and advocate in STEM
