Christian Buckley

After receiving bachelor's and master's degrees in biomedical engineering from Rutgers University, Christian Buckley is furthering his studies as a Ph.D. student at Stevens Institute of Technology. His current dissertation research focuses on electroactive materials to enhance bone regeneration and vascularization of tissue engineered scaffolds. Christian has worked as an intern for Roche Molecular Systems as well as a scientist at IPS Labs and is currently Vice President of the Graduate Biomedical Engineering Society at Stevens. Understanding the importance of translational research, he strives to become a leader in the biotech industry to help bring technologies from the bench to the bedside.
