Carina Trama
Carina Trama is a senior at Ridgewood High School in Ridgewood. Biology and Chemistry have been the highlights of her academic experience in high school, and she would like to pursue Biochemistry in college. She is a team leader for the Applied Engineering Club, and she is also member of a group which is a finalist for the Lemelson-MIT Program that will continue in the fall. Carina has conducted scientific research at the Stevens Institute of Technology and New Jersey Institute of Technology for the past two summers. Aside from STEM, she is the president of her high school’s chapter of the National Spanish Honor Society and the current vice president of the class of 2021. Because of Carina’s strong sense of community involvement, she leads the Project Interact Club in volunteering with local community organizations. Outside of academics, Carina enjoys listening to music, biking, running, and drawing.
