Alex Savov

Alexander Savov is a junior at Mainland Regional High School. His interests include robotics, artificial intelligence, biological sciences, and sustainability. Alexander is the co-founder of the first robotics club at his high school and he is involved in environmental work as a Boys Scout leader and a member of the NJ Student Sustainability Coalition. Alexander holds certifications in Java, Python and Sustainable Energy while currently working on a machine learning research project in healthcare. Outside of academics, Alexander is a competitive swimmer, Ocean City beach patrol lifeguard and Special Olympics volunteer, helping children with intellectual disabilities swim.
