Advika Vuppala

Advika Vuppala is a junior at High Technology High School. As junior class president, Key Club Secretary, and a member of her school’s VEX team, Advika is a highly active and dedicated member of her school community. Advika has presented her research on a novel method of microgreen inoculation through hydroponics at various research symposiums. Of which, she won 1st place at the tri-state Delaware Valley Science Fair and placed 3rd at her regional Jersey Shore Science Fair. She was recognized by the USDA for an exemplary project on agriculture. Advika was also Marketing Director of cypHER, which organizes coding workshops for middle school girls. In addition, Advika and her team competed nationally in Technology Student Association, ranking top 4 for Children’s Stories. Advika is also one of the founders of OMMC, a 501c3 math organization. She is an avid volunteer and loves serving her community. She is interested in computer science, biomedical engineering, and robotics, hoping to pursue one of these in further studies.
