Aaron Simpson

Aaron Simpson is a senior at Atlantic City High School. As a member of the Academic Challenge Club, Science League Club, and his place on AtlantiCare's Youth Advisory Board, he is exposed to a wide array of academic disciplines. In addition, he is a member of the National Honor Society, and plans to serve on the leadership committee. Aaron is an active member of his school, attending multiple events such as Open House where he served as a guide for prospective Atlantic City High School students. He is an ambassador for the Mark Cuban Foundation AI Bootcamp, where students can learn about the use of artificial intelligence in real world applications. He advised and provided a student perspective on the program to help guide the building of a new, more user-friendly curriculum. Furthermore, he is an involved member of the Atlantic Coast Research Mission's Team Calypso. As a member of Team Calypso, he has worked with research professors from Rutgers - New Brunswick to conduct ground proofing of the sea bed using the Geneinno Titan remotely operated vehicle. Aaron started the project as a social media manager, but later grew into the copilot role. Team Calypso is helping Aaron move closer to his goal of working in the field of environmental science.
