Shahram Dabiri brings exclusive and unprecedented experience to the United States Department of Defense STEM Education Program. Shahram was brought into the STEM Education Program to assist in establishing and furthering various partnerships among defense contractors, defense organizations and educators to increase the program’s effective outreach. His career includes work on avant-garde approaches for the establishment of partnerships among various organizations to further STEM education, development of rapid acquisition vehicles for the procurement of prototypes for the Department of Defense, serving as lead engineer on various large caliber artillery systems (both foreign and domestic) and on various unique projects designed to reduce system costs and environmental impacts while improving overall safety. Shahram’s engineering education began at Hudson Valley Community College. He obtained his Bachelor’s of Engineering Science from SUNY University at Buffalo and his Executive Master’s in Business Administration from Fairleigh Dickinson University’s Silberman College of Business. He is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt.
